What is the Economic Empowerment Summit?

Will Shuttles be provided from the hotel?
Yes.  Shuttle services will be provided to and from the Summit for the host hotel only.

This year’s speakers are Actor Derek Luke, Dr. Janice Bryant Howroyd, Dr. Steve Perry, Dr. Claud Anderson, and Professor Steven Rogers.

Saturday Nov. 7th  7:30am-6:00pm

Can I register on-site?
Yes.  Registration will open as early as 1 ½ hours prior to the beginning of each day’s session. 
3:00pm Friday Nov. 6th and 7:30am Saturday Nov. 7th.  The onsite registration fee is $125.

What about online registration?
Online registration is now available.

• On-site registration is available on Friday November 6, 2009 from 3:00pm – 8:00pm.
• On-site registration is located at 7600 West Roosevelt Road (Forest Park Plaza) in the Living Word Christian Center Annex building next to the main sanctuary.
• The on-site registration cost is $125.

Where is the summit being held?
The summit is being held at Living Word Christian Center Main Auditorium 7600 West Roosevelt Road Forest Park, IL 60130.

How far is the hotel from the summit location?
The hotel is approximately 15 minutes west of Living Word Christian Center.  Hotel shuttles will be provided to and from the host hotel.

Can I register for one day only?
No.  Summit attendees may attend one day only, however the registration fee of $99 is inclusive of both days.

Is there assigned seating?
There is reserved seating for conference speakers and special guest.  All other seating is on a first come first served basis.

Is childcare provided?
Childcare will not be provided for the summit.

What is the refund policy?
Refunds will not be issued for any reason. The registration fee is however transferable to another participant.

Will I get a confirmation?
Attendees that register online will receive an automatic e-confirmation.  All other attendees may obtain summit packets and related materials from the designated area outside of the main entrance to the Living Word Christian Center auditorium.

Is there available parking for the event?
Yes.  There is ample parking for summit attendees on the south side of the auditorium.  Parking is free.
